We're pregnant

Type 1 Diabetes and Pregnancy are not usually heard together and when they are, it usually is not so good. So here begins our journey. Actually it started about 3 months ago when my husband, Scott, and I decided we wanted to try to have at least one child and then hope to adopt many more!

So we met with the OBGYN, and the prenatal dietician and the prenatal diabetes educator and the Endocrinologist and then we tried ONCE! And well, it took. So today we are 4 weeks and 1 daypregnant. I hope to journal the whole experience right here. The good, the bad, the ugly and the awesome! So today I got my flu shot and now I have to pee AGAIN.
Which I hear is just the beginning...

    Wow! What an awesome testimony to God's Grace you are! Can't wait to go on this journey with you and Scott! You both are loved more than you know! Congrats!
